About Me

I'm a queer poet and playwright currently living in Brooklyn, New York. I grew up in a small town in central  Maine close to the Kennebec River. For many years I performed my own poetry at several National Poetry Slams and regional tours at theaters, coffee shops, universities and bars across the United States. Now I mainly write plays.

My plays have been performed in New York at The Public Theater (as part of the Brooklyn College Weasel Festival), The Tank, The New Ohio Theater, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater and The Wild Project. I studied theater at Emerson College, and earned an MFA in playwriting at Brooklyn College with Mac Wellman and Erin Courtney as mentors. My play "Now Lie In It" was a finalist for the 2021 Page 73 Fellowship, and I am currently a member of Page 73's 2021-22 Interstate Writing Group.
